The team at OBC were in a pickle. They managed an impressive portfolio of 30 wineries from across the globe. Their website was relied upon by a nationwide team of sales professionals who regularly needed to access brand assets, tasting notes, and other files. Yet the site was slow, confusing to navigate, and not mobile-friendly.
The real challenge here was to develop a winery landing page layout that provided easy access to dozens of files while not overwhelming the visitor. We needed to show clear branding for each winery while remaining in harmony with the OBC parent brand. I’m biased, but I think we did pretty well!
Behind the scenes, I migrated all of their dozens of wineries, hundreds of wines, and thousands of files into a new database format that’s more efficient than the previous one.
